One person involved in the disturbance at the Seoul Western District Court has been additionally detained by the police.
Director General Kang Hyuk-seong of the Western District Court conducted a pre-trial detention hearing for individual A, who is facing charges of joint intrusion under the Act on the Punishment of Violent Acts, on the 26th. He issued a detention warrant, stating, "There is a concern of flight."
Individual A is accused of causing a disturbance by illegally breaking into the Western District Court and damaging property right after a detention warrant was issued for President Yoon Seok-yeol early on the 19th.
As a result, the number of individuals detained due to the collective illegal activities that occurred around the Western District Court on the 18th and 19th has increased to 62. One of them applied for a detention review, but on that day, Director General Kang dismissed the application.
