Baek Jong-won, CEO of Theborn Korea, raided a store of his franchise brand "Hong Kong Banjeom 0410" to inspect the menu. After tasting the Jjamppong at one location, Baek evaluated, "This is not our Jjamppong."

On the 22nd, a video titled "I went to check the Jjamppong" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Baek Jong-won PAIK JONG WON" operated by Baek. The video featured Baek randomly visiting a "Hong Kong Banjeom 0410" store, tasting the food, and providing evaluations.

In the video, Baek Jong-won said, "I don't remember eating at the store recently. The problem is that if I suddenly enter holding a camera, the kitchen already knows and prepares food for a specific person, so it can't be a perfect raid."

Therefore, the production team hid the camera and entered to order food without Baek, and once the food was ready, Baek entered to taste it.

Baek Jong-won first tasted the Jajangmyeon, expressing satisfaction by saying, "The smoky flavor is good." He then stirred the Jjamppong with chopsticks and pointed out, "This should have more vegetables than this" and continued, "It doesn’t smell smoky at all. It’s too ordinary. I’m dissing my own. This is not our Jjamppong."

Regarding the Tangsooyuk, he remarked, "It should have been fried for about a minute longer," adding that it wasn’t undercooked, but rather that the crispiness was somewhat lacking.

The issue Baek pointed out was the Jjamppong. Ultimately, he went to the kitchen and said, "Make three portions of Jjamppong again. Are you confident? I will order one Jjamppong rice and two Jjamppongs," and made the payment himself. Upon returning to his seat, he stated, "If it comes out the same, it means I knew it from the beginning, without intention or laziness, so the recipe should be properly shared. However, if it tastes completely different, the quantity is right, and if the smoky flavor is as it should be, it means they have been lax with the recipe, even knowing it."

After receiving the reordered Jjamppong, Baek Jong-won commented, "This looks like a milky bone soup. If you fry it enough, a milky broth comes out. It smells smoky too. The quantity of ingredients is different. The taste could be this way, but it wasn’t done," and he admired, "This is truly a Jjamppong specialty store."

Baek Jong-won went to the kitchen again and reprimanded, "Why couldn’t this be done? Compare the current one with the previous one." He remarked, "The staff might be exhausted. Doing the same thing in the kitchen every day is mentally tough. In fact, they rely on their own sense of mission or responsibility, but it’s not easy as it sounds. It’s not theirs, so what can they do? But the reason they worry about this is that if this becomes second nature, will they change when it’s their own? They quickly let it go," he sighed.

In conclusion, Baek Jong-won advised the kitchen staff, "It’s distinctly different. I was moved while eating. However, criticism must be addressed. This shouldn’t be done. If you sell like this for just a month, the customers will be moved," while handing out allowances for ice cream.
