According to the police, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul arrested seven individuals in the act on charges of assaulting police officers (obstruction of official duties) that day. Among them, one person was charged with special obstruction of official duties for assaulting police with a vehicle.
Additionally, 22 people were arrested for trespassing over the walls of the Western District Court during the warrant examination, 10 were charged with attacking vehicles of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) (obstruction of official duties, etc.), and one person was detained for assaulting journalists. The police are dispersing those arrested to various police stations in Seoul for investigation.
Supporters of President Yoon protested near the courthouse throughout the day. They occupied Mapo Road after President Yoon's warrant examination and continued to chant slogans such as 'No impeachment' and 'Release the president' while surrounding the court.
Clashes occurred between the police and protesters in various locations, and the demonstrators violently shook the vehicles of the CIO outside the court, damaging the front windows and deflating the tires.
