Ten days after the tragedy involving a Jeju Air passenger plane at Muan Airport in Jeollanam-do, the funeral procedures for all 179 victims have been completed.

At a funeral home in Gwangju, a funeral ceremony for the family of KIA Tigers employee, Mr. Go (43), was held on the 8th. The Go family was the last to recover from the tragedy.

Mr. Go had been busy with the KIA Tigers' victory in the Korea Series and was on his way back from his first family trip abroad with his 3-year-old son as the year came to a close. Mr. Go's son is the youngest victim of this tragedy.

On the 6th, authorities handed over the bodies of all 179 victims who died in the tragedy to their families. Funerals for the victims were held nationwide in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, Seoul, and Gyeonggi. Authorities are continuing follow-up work, such as finding the owners of personal belongings collected from the scene of the tragedy and towing the victims' vehicles left in the airport parking lot.
