Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and a former ADOR employee involved in a damages lawsuit entered a mediation process but failed to reach an agreement.
Judge Lee Gyun-bu of the Seoul Western District Court's 21st Civil Division held a mediation session on the 6th for a damages lawsuit filed by former ADOR employee A against former CEO Min.
According to A's attorney, A's side was willing to agree to mediation if former CEO Min acknowledged wrongdoing and apologized, but Min's side opposed, stating, "We cannot accept A's claims." As a result, both parties will proceed to a formal trial for a verdict.
A claimed to have been sexually harassed by an executive during their tenure at ADOR, alleging that former CEO Min actively defended the executive and repeatedly insulted A. A also took issue with Min's disclosure of their KakaoTalk conversation via Instagram.
Former CEO Min refuted A's claims as untrue. Min also raised suspicions over A's demand for an apology even though Min was not the subject of controversy during the period of tension between HYBE and Min, stating that A has caused numerous disturbances in the workplace.
In August last year, A filed a complaint against former CEO Min with the police for violations of the Labor Standards Act and Personal Information Protection Act, seeking 100 million won in compensation.
