On the 5th, heavy snow fell around Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and with a rally taking place, congestion is occurring on the roads in the area.

According to the Korean National Police Agency's Traffic Information Center on this day, parts of Samil-daero and Hannam-daero in Yongsan-gu, Seoul are partially closed due to a rally occupying the road.

On this day, a heavy snow advisory was issued temporarily for most areas of Seoul. Although the advisory was lifted as snowfall decreased compared to early morning, a significant amount of snow remains. As of noon, recorded snowfall measured 6.1 cm in Nowon, 5.9 cm in Jongno and Dongdaemun, and 5.8 cm in Seodaemun.

There have been no reported damages from the snowfall so far, and major arterial roads remain open. However, some areas in Hannam-dong, including the barricaded sections on Hannam-daero, are experiencing difficulties in vehicle movement due to rallies and demonstrations. Participants from the Yoon Seok-yeol Immediate Resignation and Social Reform Emergency Action (Emergency Action) and the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions temporarily occupied both directions of the roadway on Hannam-daero.

The rallies continue into the afternoon on this day. From 12 p.m., presidential supporters, including New Freedom Coalition, occupied two lanes in front of the International Lutheran Church, while about 500 meters away, Emergency Action and others are holding a rally calling for the arrest of the president from 2 p.m.

As road control is expected due to the rallies, Seoul city buses are temporarily rerouting. Routes affected include 110A, 140, 142, 144, 400, 402, 420, 470, 472, 741, 3011, 6211, 9401, 9401-1, N13, N31, N37. Subways may pass through without stopping depending on the situation.

An official from the Seoul metropolitan government noted, "We will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to the public and ensure the safety of transportation facilities," and requested, "Please check traffic information in advance and use public transportation."
