Seoul Metro noted that as of 5:21 p.m. that day, trains in both directions at Hangangjin Station are passing through without stopping. Currently, the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and Candlelight Action are holding rallies at Hannam Elementary School and in front of exit 2 of Hangangjin Station, respectively, while the conservative group Rally for a Sound Korea (RSK) is holding a rally in front of the International Lutheran Church to call for President Yoon's arrest.

The distance between the rallies of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and RSK is about 400 meters. As members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions entered all lanes, traffic in both directions on Hannam-daero (from Hannam Five-way Intersection to Bukhanam Three-way Intersection) is also being controlled.
