Interest is growing as Chae Moon-sun, CEO of Talitha Koum and the third generation owner of Aekyung Group, suddenly closed their YouTube channel.
Since September last year, Chae launched a corner titled "Chae Moon-sun's Runaway Dream" on the Talitha Koum YouTube channel, debuting as a YouTuber and starting communication with the public. However, as of the 2nd, when accessing the official Talitha Koum channel, a message appears stating that the page is unavailable.
Some speculate that Chae might have been caught up in the backlash as calls to boycott Aekyung Group, the parent company of Jeju Air, are emerging following the Jeju Air passenger plane crash.
Born in 1986, Chae is the granddaughter of Aekyung Group Chairman Jang Young-sin and the eldest daughter of Aekyung Group Vice Chairman Chae Hyung-seok. After graduating from Yewon School, Chae majored in vocal music at the Manhattan School of Music in the United States. Chae then gained practical experience at Maeil Dairies' food service division and in marketing at Aekyung Industrial, before launching the vegan cosmetics brand Talitha Koum in 2019.
Chae married SeAH Group's third-generation owner, Lee Tae-sung, the CEO of SeAH Holdings, in 2013 and has three children.
