Lotte World announced on the 30th that it has decided to suspend all parades, street performances, and other events at Lotte World Adventure and Lotte World Adventure Busan until Jan. 4 in solidarity with mourning the victims during the national mourning period.

Accordingly, the 'Happy New Year Electric Party' countdown event scheduled for the night of the 31st has been canceled, and full refunds will be provided to those who have already purchased tickets.

Additionally, the exterior of Lotte World Tower will be illuminated with mourning lights until the 4th of next month to commemorate the victims of the Muan Airport disaster. The lights will be on from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Lotte World Tower also turned on white lights on the upper lantern during the Itaewon disaster in 2022 to mourn the victims.

A Lotte Group representative noted, "We have decided to illuminate the mourning lights during the national mourning period designated by the government to pay tribute to the souls of the victims who tragically lost their lives."
