On the 29th, families of passengers presumed dead in the Jeju Air plane accident expressed dissatisfaction with the authorities' accident response process. They noted that proper identification of the deceased was not being conducted, and related briefings were not being provided in a timely manner.

A man in his 60s, referred to as Mr. A, said, "It was only around 4:40 p.m. that they posted a paper with the list of deceased, written in barely visible letters, on a wall near where the bereaved families were gathered." Mr. A added, "People like me, who are older, couldn't see it." Subsequently, after families protested, the list of identified deceased was displayed on an electronic board.

Mr. A also mentioned, "They said they would provide briefings every 30 minutes, but there was no news even after more than an hour." He added, "The updates are slower than watching TV." He further noted, "There's no way the bereaved families wouldn't be upset."

Tae Nam-seok, 63, said, "An accident occurred at the international airport where 180 people died, but the officials remain silent, only saying 'we are investigating.'" He added, "Families are left knowing nothing, merely waiting until the officials say something, otherwise, they remain clueless waiting again." Tae commented, "Does this even make sense?"
