All domestic and international flights to and from Muan International Airport were canceled due to an aircraft accident that occurred at the airport on the 29th.

According to Korea Airports Corporation, the check-in for Jeju Air flight 7C341 scheduled to depart for Jeju at 10 a.m. was suspended. Jin Air flight LJ467 to Jeju at 1:35 p.m. and Cambodia Air flight KR542 to Siem Reap at 4:50 p.m. were also canceled. Additionally, Jeju Air flight 7C2215 to Bangkok at 8:50 p.m. and Jin Air flight LJ747 to Taipei at 11:30 p.m. were canceled.

All flights arriving at Muan International Airport in the afternoon were also canceled.

Earlier that day, around 9:03 a.m., a Jeju Air flight from Bangkok with 181 passengers and crew caught fire while landing at Muan Airport. So far, 47 people have died, and the death toll may rise.
