The list of identified victims in the Jeju Air passenger plane accident began to be released from 4:50 p.m. on the 29th. This list is gradually being displayed on the electronic board within Muan International Airport, the site of the accident.

As the list appeared on the board, a woman who appeared to be a relative cried "Mom," while collapsing onto a chair. Another woman, appearing to be in her 50s, sobbed, saying "You said you were coming to Korea today, what is happening," while hugging those around her. A woman appearing to be in her 70s fainted, and another woman bowed her head, silently weeping. A man sitting next to her patted her shoulder to comfort her. Others looked at the list with tears in their eyes. Some were taking pictures of the list with their phone cameras.

The initial list included the names, nationalities, birth dates, genders, and identification methods of 22 deceased victims. Among them were 12 women and 10 men. All were listed as having Korean nationality. The ages ranged from those born in 1949 to 2001. All were identified using "fingerprints."

Upon seeing the list, a woman burst into tears and loudly said "Please identify the others quickly as well." Another individual, referred to as A, said "My daughter was on the accident flight, but since her identity hasn't been confirmed yet, she isn't on the list of the deceased," stating, "It's incredibly sad and unbelievable."

As of 5:55 p.m. that day, a total of 49 victims were confirmed identified. Aside from the initial 22 lists, the subsequent names were not posted on the electronic board. This decision reportedly came after relatives expressed concerns about identity exposure.

Meanwhile, it was reported that around 10 relatives are planning to personally inspect the area around the runway at Muan International Airport, the accident site, using vehicles.
