Model Moon Gabi (35), who had a child out of wedlock with actor Jung Woo-sung (51), stated, "The child is neither a mistake nor a consequence of a mistake."
Moon Gabi opened up on the 28th through her social media, saying, "Speculative and conjectural reports about the child are pouring in," and noted, "Despite maintaining silence for everyone, I was unprotected. Ultimately, to protect the child, I decided to publish a public statement." This is the first time Moon Gabi has expressed her opinion directly since the fact of the out-of-wedlock birth was revealed.
She completely denied the marriage demands and child support allegations related to her relationship with Jung Woo-sung. Moon Gabi highlighted, "Since meeting at a gathering in 2022, we've continued to get to know each other deeply, maintaining a good relationship until the last day of 2023," and emphasized, "Since one day in Jan. 2024, I have not met the person known as the child's father even once, and I have never demanded marriage or anything else from him due to the pregnancy."
She also clarified the rumors about giving birth alone without an agreement. Moon Gabi conveyed, "The decision to meet the child was a choice made by both parents," and shared, "The child is growing up surrounded by the blessings and love of the mother and family."
She added, "There were definitely moments when I was excited, laughing, and happy with the child in my womb, and I think it's wrong to declare that this child is a mistake or will grow up unhappy simply because the current form of the relationship between two people is slightly different."
