According to the Korea meteorological Administration, the lowest morning temperature on this day is expected to range from minus 10 degrees to 3 degrees, with the highest daytime temperature forecast from 3 to 11 degrees. Key regional temperatures include Seoul (minus 2 degrees, 6 degrees), Daejeon (minus 2 degrees, 6 degrees), and Chuncheon (minus 9 degrees, 4 degrees). An official from the Korea meteorological Administration noted that "most regions will be below freezing in the morning, making it cold," and added that "temperatures will gradually rise from the afternoon, recovering to normal levels."
The Korean Peninsula will experience cloudy weather due to the influence of a pressure trough passing north. From this night, light snow flurries (less than 0.1 cm) or raindrops (0.1 mm) are expected in the metropolitan area, inland and mountainous areas of northern Gangwon, Chungcheong region, Jeonbuk, and western inland of Gyeongbuk.
On the 26th, Jeju is expected to see snowfall and precipitation of 1 to 5 cm and 5 mm, respectively. In the eastern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, and northern Chungbuk, snowfall of 1 cm and precipitation of 1 mm are expected. On the 27th, the expected snowfall is 3 to 10 cm in Jeonbuk, 3 to 8 cm in the western coast and southern inland of Chungnam, 1 to 5 cm in the northern inland of Chungnam and northwestern Jeonnam, and 1 cm in Daejeon, Sejong, mid-south of Chungbuk, Gwangju, and Jeonnam (excluding the northwest and southern coast). The expected precipitation is 5 to 10 mm in Jeonbuk, 5 mm in Chungnam, and 1 mm in other regions.
