Sunday the 22nd will be mostly clear nationwide, but the morning temperature will be very cold, dropping to around minus 10 degrees Celsius in central inland areas, the Gangwon-do mountains, and the Gyeongbuk inland.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that morning temperatures would fall 5 to 10 degrees lower than the previous day. They also forecast strong winds, making the wind chill even lower. The morning lows will range from minus 12 to 4 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs will fluctuate between 0 and 8 degrees Celsius.

As of 5 a.m. that day, the temperatures were minus 6.9 degrees in Seoul, minus 5.6 degrees in Incheon, minus 6.1 degrees in Suwon, minus 10.0 degrees in Chuncheon, minus 2.8 degrees in Gangneung, minus 5.0 degrees in Cheongju, minus 5.7 degrees in Daejeon, minus 3.3 degrees in Jeonju, minus 0.7 degrees in Gwangju, 5.5 degrees in Jeju, minus 3.0 degrees in Daegu, minus 1.6 degrees in Busan, minus 2.9 degrees in Ulsan, and minus 1.7 degrees in Changwon.

Daytime temperatures are expected to remain around 0 degrees Celsius in the central region, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk. The daytime highs are forecast to be 2 degrees in Seoul, 1 degree in Incheon, 2 degrees in Suwon, 2 degrees in Chuncheon, 5 degrees in Gangneung, 3 degrees in Cheongju, 4 degrees in Daejeon, 4 degrees in Jeonju, 4 degrees in Gwangju, 6 degrees in Daegu, 7 degrees in Busan, and 7 degrees in Jeju.

Nationwide, it will generally be clear, but there will be many clouds in the western coast of Chungnam and Jeolla regions, and it will be mostly cloudy in Jeju. Ulleungdo and Dokdo are expected to receive 5 to 20 mm of rain, and 5 to 20 cm of snow. Until the morning, some areas in the western part of Jeonnam might experience drops of rain under 0.1 mm or snow under 0.1 cm.

A strong wind advisory was issued for the western coast of Chungnam, the Jeolla coast, inland Jeonnam, the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and Jeju, with winds exceeding 20 meters per second. A dry weather advisory was issued for the northern east coast of Gangwon, the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, and parts of the Gyeongnam region.

The fine dust concentration will be at a 'good' level nationwide due to smooth atmospheric diffusion.
