The Korean National Police Agency's Martial Law Special Investigation Team announced on the 20th that they conducted a closed-door investigation of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is acting president.

A police special unit official said that day, "We conducted a face-to-face investigation with Acting President Han," noting, "The investigation is fundamentally non-disclosed."

The police special unit has reportedly investigated 9 out of 12 participants in the cabinet meeting at the time of the martial law issuance, excluding President Yoon Suk-yeol, former Minister of National Defense Kim Yong-hyun, and Minister of Unification Kim Young-ho. The joint investigation team, which includes the police special unit, stated, "Minister Kim Young-ho appeared for questioning at the prosecution despite the police's repeated requests for attendance," adding, "We are considering a second round of summonses for the indicted cabinet members."
