Police have launched an investigation after leaflets advocating martial law were distributed in an apartment complex in Busan.
According to Busan Bukbu Police Station on the 20th, a 112 emergency call was received on the 16th reporting leaflets advocating martial law being distributed at an apartment in Buk-gu, Busan.
Online communities are seeing the spread of posts with titles like "Leaflets being distributed in Busan apartment complex" and "Report sedition acts to National Investigation Headquarters," accompanied by photos of the leaflets.
So far, Bukbu Police Station has received one report related to the leaflets.
The leaflet contains content criticizing the Democratic Party under the title "If it gets too much, even I would declare martial law."
An official from Bukbu Police Station said, "We initially judged it as an illegal advertisement attachment and are investigating the case," adding, "As of now, there has been one 112 report, and we are checking if the same leaflets have been distributed in other areas."
