A woman in her 20s who allowed strangers on the street to touch her body to upload YouTube videos received a fine in the first trial.
On the 12th, Judge Ha Jin-woo of the Seoul Central District Court's 22nd Criminal Division sentenced Lee to a fine of 4 million won for charges of public obscenity.
Two adult content production company representatives who were also charged were each fined 4 million won and 5 million won, respectively.
Lee was accused of walking around Apgujeong and Hongdae in Seoul last October only wearing a box while allowing passersby to touch her chest. Lee and the content production company representatives filmed this scene and posted it on YouTube.
The court noted, "Such acts are sufficiently suggestive and can provoke sexual imagination and shame in ordinary people," adding, "It appears they performed these acts to gain recognition and generate revenue from it."
