On the 12th, there will be partly cloudy skies across the country. Rain or snow is expected on the eastern coast and mountainous areas of central and southern Gangwon, and the eastern coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang.
The expected precipitation over two days is 5∼20mm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and 5∼10mm for the eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon and the eastern coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang. The expected snowfall is 1∼5cm in the mountainous areas of Gangwon and about 1cm in the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be -6∼3°C, with daytime high temperatures reaching 4∼12°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be good to average across all regions. However, the southern part of Gyeonggi, Sejong, and North Chungcheong are anticipated to reach poor levels in the morning.
The sea waves are expected to be 0.5∼3.5m on the eastern coast, 0.5∼2.0m on the western coast, and 0.5∼2.5m on the southern coast.
The swell in the open sea (approximately 200km offshore from the coastline) is forecasted to be 1.0∼3.5m in the East Sea, 0.5∼3.0m in the West Sea, and 0.5∼2.5m in the South Sea.
