Viatris said on the 14th that Representative Kim Seon-a, who had led the Japan subsidiary, will also oversee strategy for the Korea market. Kim, who had served as head of Viatris Japan, has been appointed head of the Korea-Japan cluster.
Kim has built a career in the pharmaceutical industries of Korea and Japan. At Pfizer Korea and Pfizer Japan, Kim handled marketing and the oncology business. After Viatris launched in 2020, Kim oversaw organizational integration and business operations at the Japan subsidiary.
Viatris plans to strengthen cooperation between the Korea and Japan markets going forward. There is no change to the Viatris Korea head. A company official said, "As before, Representative Bill Schuster, as head of Viatris Korea, will oversee domestic business and management," adding, "There is no change to the operating structure of the Korea subsidiary."
