Lotte Biologics, a biopharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) corporations, was selected as a "2026 Korea top job-creating company" in recognition of its efforts to create jobs and promote work-life balance.
Since its founding in June 2022, Lotte Biologics has continued hiring both entry-level and experienced workers to build the Songdo Bio Campus, creating more than 500 jobs through the first half of this year. The average age of employees is 31.7.
The company signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and Korea Polytechnics and launched corporations-tailored curricula to train bio specialists. It also signed industry-academia partnerships with five junior colleges in the Seoul and Incheon regions.
To support work-life balance, the company operates flexible work arrangements such as staggered hours and remote work, and granted stock options to all employees. It also supports parental leave and maternity leave, reduced working hours during pregnancy and childrearing, and family care leave. It offers benefits such as four days of seasonal leave per year, personal pension and welfare points, and support for medical and nursing care expenses.
