L&C BIO(290650) moved to promote the human tissue–based extracellular matrix (ECM) product "Re2O" to local medical staff ahead of Thai item approval.
L&C BIO said on the 8th that it took part in the aesthetic medicine, laser, and cosmetic surgery academic event "ASLS Bangkok 2026," held in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 2nd–3rd.
At this event, L&C BIO set up an exhibition booth and introduced Re2O and "Re2O Fine." Re2O is a product based on human-derived acellular dermis (hADM). It is injected into the skin to induce skin regeneration and remodeling using ECM.
The academic program also presented clinical use cases of Re2O. Chief director Shin Dong-u of Navi Plastic Surgery Clinic gave a lecture on "ECM-based facial rejuvenation and volume improvement," presenting Re2O's clinical data and application cases. Chief director Choi Ho-seong of Piona Clinic introduced combination methods that use various procedures together with Re2O and patient-specific treatment strategies.
L&C BIO views Thailand as one of the key bases for expanding into the Southeast Asian market. It is currently pursuing Thai item approval and, with the goal of approval in the second half of this year, is preparing market entry with a local partner.
After approval, it plans to expand product training and academic activities for local medical staff, and to promote collaborations and clinical programs with key opinion leaders (KOL).
It is also expanding overseas. In April, it obtained item approval for Re2O and Re2O Fine in Mongolia and launched them locally, and in May it took part in an aesthetics and anti-aging society event in Myanmar. It is also pursuing regulatory approvals and distribution network building to expand export destinations to Japan, Singapore, and other markets.
