According to the August ad hoc asset registration for senior officials released in the electronic official gazette on the 20th by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee, the former Vice Minister's assets rose 638.97 million won from the March filing. Rising dwellings prices and gains in domestic stock asset values contributed.
The apartment in the name of the former official in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, increased by about 438 million won. The apartment in the spouse's name in Sejong fell by about 7 million won. The building asset combining the reported values of the two dwellings is 2.987 billion won.
deposits rose by about 235.02 million won to 1.14059 billion won on increased assets from domestic stock gains. Held securities were 115.1 million won, similar to March. The former Vice Minister holds shares of Tesla, Treasury Bond, Hankook Capital, NongHyup Financial Group, and Harim Holdings.
Jeong Yun-soon, chair of the Korea Foundation For Suicide Prevention (KFSP) under the ministry, who took office in May, reported assets of 1.74307 billion won. Building assets, including two apartments in the official's name and three in the spouse's name, totaled 1.522 billion won. deposits were 414.71 million won, and held securities were 61.01 million won.
Jeong previously served as director general for health care policy and for social welfare policy, and as head of the National Health Insurance Policy Bureau at the ministry.
Eun Min-su, president of the Korea Human Resource Development Institute for Health & Welfare (KOHI), who also took office that month, reported 975.05 million won. Building assets, including an officetel and an apartment in the official's name and an apartment in the spouse's name, were 664 million won. deposits were 315.71 million won, and held securities were 66.17 million won.
