Celltrion(068270) said on the 10th that it will support "rested youths." It will provide education on the bio industry to young people who are not working or have stopped seeking jobs and help them enter society.
Celltrion held a launch ceremony for "K-New Deal Academy Cell-In" in Songdo, Incheon, on the 10th with the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources. It will provide job-seeking education to 50 unemployed youths ages 18 to 34, five days a week, eight hours a day, through Oct. 23.
Participants will carry out bio theory and on-site practice, and project assignments. It will run industry-academia programs with Seoul National University and Yonsei University. It will support one-on-one job consulting, mock interviews, and special lectures on self-introduction letters and portfolios. Each person can receive 300,000 won in training support.
A Celltrion official said, "We hope this will be an opportunity for young people who were interested in the bio industry but could not enter it to build their capabilities," adding, "We will help them enhance their job competitiveness."
