Hanmi Science(008930) said on the 3rd that it sponsored a national youth baseball tournament with 153 teams from across the country and launched a corporate social responsibility effort to promote the health of children and teenagers.
Hanmi Science said on the 3rd that from the 17th to the 21st it sponsored "Tenten-flavor multivitamin" for the "3rd MyDaily Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament" held at Hoengseong Baseball Theme Park in Gangwon. Hanmi Science is the holding company of the Hanmi Pharmaceutical(128940) group.
The sponsored products were used as on-site event prizes during the tournament and as awards for the most valuable player (MVP) and outstanding players.
Now in its third year, the tournament is the largest national youth baseball competition, hosted by MyDaily and organized by the Korea Youth Baseball Federation. A total of 153 teams and about 1,500 youth players from across the country competed in seven leagues. About 150 games were held during the tournament, and more than 3,000 people, including players, families, and spectators, visited the venue.
Chief Executive Kim Jae-gyo of Hanmi Science said, "I hope the youth players fully showcased their skills through this tournament, interacted with one another, and had time to grow," adding, "We will continue to support children and teenagers so they can develop their potential in various fields."
Meanwhile, Hanmi Science continues corporate social responsibility activities to support the healthy growth of children and teenagers, and is also focusing on expanding its consumer health business. Core operating company Hanmi Pharmaceutical is concentrating on strengthening competitiveness in research and development in new drugs and biotech.
