Celltrion(068270) said on the 14th that it received an AAA grade for export-import safety management from the Korea Customs Service. The Korea Customs Service said it made the decision after reviewing legal compliance, financial soundness, and safety management.
The Korea Customs Service certified 773 domestic corporations as excellent companies for export-import safety management. It said Celltrion is the only pharmaceutical and biotech company among them to receive the top AAA grade.
With this certification, Celltrion will be eligible for benefits such as exemption from submitting export-import documents and 100% exemption from logistics inspections through 2030. The company currently operates a self-inspection system that checks tax reductions and customs clearance compliance in advance.
Kang Seong-hwan, head of Celltrion's supply operations division, said, "We will remove national trade barriers and supply medicines to patients around the world in a timely manner."
