Vascular medical device corporations Enventric said on the 26th that it was finally selected for the "2026 Unicorn Bridge" program led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KOTEC).
Unicorn Bridge is the government's flagship scale-up program that discovers deep-tech corporations with innovation and growth potential and nurtures them into unicorn corporations with global competitiveness. Selected corporations receive various support, including funding for global market development, special guarantees, and overseas expansion programs.
Enventric is a corporations that develops next-generation catheter-based medical devices in cerebrovascular, cardiovascular, and cardiac electrophysiology. Its main products include ▲ a stent retriever for cerebrovascular treatment ▲ an access catheter ▲ and a next-generation PFA (Pulsed Field Ablation) platform for treating cardiac arrhythmias.
The company has also continued to commercialize products this year. On Jan. 1, it received product approval from the Ministery of Food and Drug Safety for the distal access catheter "EVOGLIDE," and this month it obtained product approval for "ULTRIVA," a thrombectomy device for treating acute cerebral infarction.
Recently, it wrapped up new investment totaling 34.5 billion won. The secured funds will be invested in strengthening research and development (R&D) capabilities, expanding manufacturing infrastructure, and entering global markets. It has selected Kiwoom Securities as the lead manager and is also preparing for a KOSDAQ initial public offering (IPO).
Leveraging this Unicorn Bridge selection, Enventric plans to accelerate entry into the U.S. and European markets and expand development and commercialization partnerships with global medical device corporations to strengthen its position in the global endovascular medical device market.
