The product will be introduced under the name Esoduo Mini. It cut the main ingredient of Esoduo S by half. Within 30 minutes after dosing, it reaches peak blood concentration and relieves symptoms.
Esoduo Mini is a combination of the proton pump inhibitor (PPI) esomeprazole and sodium bicarbonate. Esomeprazole suppresses the secretion of stomach acid. Sodium bicarbonate prevents the esomeprazole component from breaking down in the stomach.
A Chong Kun Dang pharmaceutical official said it is "a product that quickly improves symptoms and expands dosing convenience."
