Hugel said on the 1st that its cosmetics brand "Wellage" has entered Olive Young in California, United States. The plan is to speed up its push into cosmetics in the United States, the world's largest consumer market.
The company introduced nine products, including a hyaluronic ampoule, at Olive Young in the United States. The company said this was the result of strategically partnering with Olive Young in Korea and building a relationship.
Wellage's overseas sales in January–April this year rose 95% from the same period last year. Wellage has entered 12 countries, including the United States and Canada. It has launched on the online mall Amazon and at the big-box retailer Costco.
A Hugel official said, "We will expand our distribution network to the U.S. mainland to increase consumer touchpoints."
