Dong-A ST said on the 22nd it will provide Digital Healthcare in Brazil. Medical staff will remotely manage patients' conditions and respond immediately when abnormal signs are detected.
Dong-A ST recently signed a distribution deal for "HiCardi Plus" with Brazilian corporations Cardios. HiCardi Plus measures patients' electrocardiograms, body temperature, and respiration for up to 72 hours and wirelessly transmits the data. Medical staff can observe patients' conditions in real time.
Dong-A ST signed an exclusive sales contract for HiCardi in Brazil in 2024 and won authorization to use HiCardi Plus from the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency last year. Dong-A ST plans to strengthen hospital sales and increase its market share in Digital Healthcare.
A Dong-A ST official said, "We will build a remote monitoring ecosystem," adding, "Starting with Brazil, we will expand our Digital Healthcare business across Latin America."
