AI regenerative medicine corporations ROKIT Healthcare is teaming up with a United Arab Emirates (UAE) royal family-affiliated investment firm to expand into the Middle East and European markets.
ROKIT Healthcare said on the 14th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at its Seoul headquarters on the 13th with Master Investment Group (MIG), a UAE-based investment institution, for an equity investment and the establishment of a local joint venture (JV).
Under the agreement, the two sides plan to establish a joint venture tentatively named "ROKIT MENA," worth about 30 billion won ($20 million).
MIG will participate with a cash investment, while ROKIT Healthcare will contribute its AI organ regeneration platform technology in kind.
According to the company, the parties plan to sign a final contract as soon as possible and begin building local production facilities and commercialization.
Despite recent instability in the Middle East, Prince Abdullah, a member of the UAE Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) royal family, visited Korea and toured ROKIT Healthcare's headquarters. Prince Abdullah reviewed ROKIT Healthcare's AI-based organ regeneration and anti-aging technologies and discussed future cooperation.
MIG is an investment firm that leads national strategic industry investments and infrastructure development, with experience investing in global deep-tech corporations. The investment is seen as a result of the UAE identifying AI regenerative medicine as a key growth engine as it pursues advanced medical self-sufficiency and the development of medical tourism.
The new joint venture will operate regenerative medicine clinics and produce products from its UAE base, with plans to expand into Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries including Saudi Arabia and into the European market. The strategy is to build a revenue model that combines medical services, precision diagnostics, and an AI platform.
ROKIT Healthcare said it expects to secure the GCC market, estimated at about 15 million people, through the partnership, and to strengthen its global direct sales network linking the Middle East and Europe following the United States and China.
A ROKIT Healthcare official said, "Even amid tense international conditions, Prince Abdullah's visit to Korea underscores the overwhelming value of our AI regenerative medicine technology," adding, "With this large-scale investment and the launch of the JV, ROKIT Healthcare will rise as a game changer leading the global AI organ regeneration field."
