Minister Jung Eun-kyeong of the Ministry of Health and Welfare reported assets of about 5.8 billion won.
According to the "2026 regular asset change details for public officials," which the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee posted in the official gazette on the 26th, the Minister held 5,809.53 million won under the names of the Minister, the spouse, and others. That was an increase of 137.36 million won from the previous filing (5,672.17 million won).
An apartment in Huam-dong, Seoul, under the names of the Minister and the spouse, was 1,262 million won, and land in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, under the spouse's name, was 170 million won. Deposits under the names of the Minister, the spouse, the eldest son, and the second son totaled 4,047 million won. Securities held by the spouse and the two sons were about 30.4 million won, down 126 million won from the previous filing. Deposits increased from earned and financial income, and all shares of Raumplan previously held by the two sons were sold.
Im Seung-kwan, commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, held assets of 3,542 million won. That was up about 140.51 million won from the previous filing. Buildings, including a detached dwelling in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, jointly owned by the commissioner and the spouse, and an apartment in Yongin owned by the parents, totaled 1,090 million won.
Deposits were reported at about 1.5 billion won under the names of the commissioner, the spouse, the parents, and the eldest, second, and third sons. Stocks and bonds were held at 885 million won under the names of the commissioner, the spouse, and the three sons.
Oh Yu-Kyoung, head of the Ministery of Food and Drug Safety, reported assets of 9,576 million won. That was an increase of 2,168 million won from the previous filing. Building rights, including a jeonse right on an apartment in Gangneung, Gangwon Province, under the head's name, and a jeonse right on an apartment in Gangnam District, Seoul, under the spouse's name, totaled 1,440 million won, unchanged from the previous filing.
Deposits held by the head, the spouse, and the eldest daughter rose by about 2.1 billion won, from about 2.7 billion won to about 4.8 billion won. Securities held by the head and family edged down from 3,253.5 million won to 3,250.95 million won. Deposits increased by saving income and converting stock revenue.
