SK Biopharmaceuticals said on the 6th that it held a commemorative event to mark International Women's Day (March 8). On the way to work, it handed out bread, coffee, and roses to all members. Through bread (the right to live) and roses (suffrage), which symbolize International Women's Day, the company enabled members to share values in their daily lives.
In the afternoon, a lecture titled "The power of diversity in organizations and women's leadership" will be given for about 30 women at the senior level and above. Outside director Seo Ji-hee (board chair), a former distinguished professor at the School of Business at Ewha Womans University, will deliver the lecture. Drawing on professional experience, Seo will discuss the capabilities and leadership needed for women leaders to drive organizational growth.
The event was prepared as a venue for unity where all members participate to reflect on the meaning of advancing women's rights and equality. The company said it will respect its members and strengthen global competitiveness.
