The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on the 27th it will issue the second call for applications for the "SME innovation voucher support program." The program provides manufacturing SMEs with consulting, technical support, and marketing assistance of up to 50 million won.
This second notice is to recruit corporations for the regional growth voucher among the five program types. Up to 50 million won in vouchers per corporation will be provided, totaling 14.8 billion won nationwide. The application period runs from today through Mar. 13.
The regional growth voucher will provide 10 billion won to the regional specialization linkage type ("Legend 50+ Project" participant corporations). When local governments support projects in line with their regional industry specialization strategies, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) selects it as a collaboration-type project.
The regional autonomous type will provide 2.54 billion won to traditional manufacturers based on programs planned by the regional offices of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It will provide 2.26 billion won to corporations participating in the entrepreneurship-type small business cultivation program. It will accelerate commercialization by local small businesses whose manufacturing facilities are inadequate and whose conditions for technology and product development are weak.
The SME innovation voucher program will be announced from today on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) website (www.mss.go.kr). Corporations wishing to participate can apply online on the innovation voucher platform website. For details related to the program, inquiries can be made through the SME Integrated Call Center (1357) and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) information call center (1811-3655).
