As Chey Tae-won of SK Group's second daughter, Chey Min-jung (35), expands hiring in Korea for the medical startup she founded, attention is focusing on the possibility of growing its business in the country.
According to a LinkedIn post by Integral Health on the 6th, the company recently recruited an artificial intelligence (AI) engineer to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement in Seoul. The posting is now closed.
Chey also posted that she would offer rewards to those who recommend suitable candidates or help with hiring.
Chey is the second daughter born to Chey Tae-won and Roh Soh-yeong, director of Art Center Nabi. Born in 1991, she graduated from Peking University with a degree in business administration.
In 2014, she became the first among chaebol family children to voluntarily enlist as a naval officer candidate and served on the destroyer Chungmugong Yi Sun-sin. After being discharged in 2017, she built her career at Hongyi Investment, a global investment firm, and SK hynix, and by advising healthcare startups.
Chey founded Integral Health in 2024. The company collaborates with U.S. medical institutions to provide personalized mental health management services using artificial intelligence.
According to industry sources, last year Chey moved the business base from San Francisco to Brooklyn, New York, and is exploring opportunities to expand.
