On the 12th, Minister Jung Eun-kyeong of the Ministry of Health and Welfare will have the process of receiving work reports from affiliated public institutions broadcast live.
According to the ministry on the 8th, the Minister will receive work reports from 28 affiliated public institutions over two days on the 12th and 14th. The session to be broadcast live is the work report on the 12th. The report that day will reportedly be attended by health care–related agencies, including the National Health Insurance Service and the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service (HIRA), chaired by Second Vice Minister Lee Hyeong-hun of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
This is the first time that scenes of the minister of the ministry receiving work reports from affiliated institutions will be released in real time. The move follows President Lee Jae-myung's directive to ministers of each ministry to disclose policy directions and implementation status to the public. Earlier, Lee had a similar session of work reports he received from government ministries broadcast live.
