Coreline Soft said on the 8th that it has completed the K-Health medical artificial intelligence (AI) solution support project led by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency. It supplied AI chest diagnosis solutions to 16 medical institutions in Gwangju and South Jeolla.
The company introduced the medical AI Aview to local clinical settings in stages. Lung cancer, emphysema and cardiovascular disease can be assessed with a single low-dose computed tomography (CT) scan. The company noted that this helps local healthcare, where there is a high proportion of older patients and chronic diseases.
The company believes that deploying the AI screening system at local medical institutions can prevent patients from flocking to large hospitals. A Coreline Soft official said, "We will help bridge the gap in local healthcare."
