Director Lee Ju-won (39), the eldest son of Chong Kun Dang Group Chairman Lee Jang-han, was promoted to senior managing director.
Chong Kun Dang Group said on the 5th that it carried out executive appointments on the 1st.
The list of promotions to president, executive vice president, senior managing director, and director included eight from Chong Kun Dang, one from CKD BiO, and one from Kyongbo Pharmaceutical.
Among them, Senior Managing Director Lee Ju-won is the grandson of Chong Kun Dang founder Chairman Lee Jong-kun and the eldest son of Chairman Lee Jang-han. He joined as an inside director at Chong Kun Dang Industry in 2018 and has led Chong Kun Dang's development planning team since 2020. After being promoted to director in Jan. last year, he was promoted to senior managing director a year later. The company said, "The title has been elevated, and there is no change in existing duties."
Kyongbo Pharmaceutical CEO Kim Tae-young of the affiliate was promoted from executive vice president to president. Kim has led Kyongbo Pharmaceutical since 2018. From Mar. 2021 to Mar. 2024, Kim served as CEO of Chong Kun Dang Holdings.
