JLK to enter Japan market with Century Medical sales partnership

JLK said on the 29th that it signed a sales cooperation agreement with Century Medical in Japan. The company plans to make a full-fledged entry into Japan with its stroke artificial intelligence (AI) analysis solutions, among others. Century Medical, a subsidiary of the Itochu Group, distributes medical devices.

JLK secured seven approvals from Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency. Century Medical already handles stroke medical devices. The company expects to sell the solutions by leveraging its existing sales network.

Chief Executive Kim Dong-min of JLK said, "We will enter the Japanese market by combining Century Medical's sales network with our technology."
