Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co. said on the 23rd that it has rolled out the German multivitamin brand "Orthomol Immun" at convenience stores including CU and GS25.
Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co. has been importing and selling "Orthomol Immun" in Korea since 2020, and it ranks No. 1 in sales in the domestic multivitamin market.
Orthomol Immun is a dual formulation of tablets (pills) and liquid based on orthomolecular medicine (Orthomolecular), considering the absorption rate of individual nutrients. The concentrated liquid contains vitamin C, B vitamins, niacin, zinc, and more, allowing up to 14 trace nutrients to be taken at once.
The company began selling a convenience-store-only single-serving Orthomol Immun with enhanced portability and ease of use so consumers can buy and drink it easily. A Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co. Orthomol official said, "At year-end or during periods with a lot of overtime like these days, we made it so consumers can more easily find Orthomol Immun at nearby convenience stores to manage their condition."
The official said, "Recently, consumers are clearly tending to consider both ingredients and intake convenience," adding, "We plan to continue expanding consumer touchpoints and responding to everyday health management needs."
