Private space launch corporations INNOSPACE halted its first commercial space launch attempt of the "Hanbit-Nano."
INNOSPACE said on the 20th that it made the decision after a technical inspection issue arose with the Hanbit-Nano launch vehicle. INNOSPACE had planned to launch Hanbit-Nano at 3:45 a.m. that day, but postponed it to 5 a.m. due to rain at the launch site. It was then delayed again to 9:30 a.m. because of an issue with the ground power supply at the site.
INNOSPACE began loading fuel and oxidizer at 6:17 a.m. and appeared to proceed with the launch, but it ultimately fell through.
INNOSPACE said a technical inspection was needed regarding the function of the second-stage liquid methane tank fill valve.
INNOSPACE plans to attempt another launch after consulting with the Brazilian Air Force during the launch standby window. The window runs through the 22nd.
