Under this agreement, the Malaysian side will support and share halal certification standards and procedures, and Chungju will promote administrative support and expand participation by local corporations.
Simplycarebio serves as a private implementer that digitally builds production, management, and traceability systems for halal certification.
The company plans to establish systems for production traceability, hygiene and bio-safety management, and data management at all stages before export to manage farms and the entire processing process. A company representative said, "The goal is to build a system that manages the entire production and distribution," adding, "We hope this will enable the Chungju area to function as a base for halal agri-food production."
Chungju plans to use this agreement to expand halal certification participation by local agri-food and livestock corporations and to gradually broaden its export base to halal countries, starting with Malaysia.
