GC Holdings said on the 1st that it has recruited Park So-young as head of the strategy planning office as a new executive.
Park, the new Deputy Minister, is regarded as an expert in strategy and planning who graduated from Seoul Science High School and the department of applied chemistry (chemical engineering) at Seoul National University, and completed the KAIST Techno MBA.
Park built a career at global strategy consulting firms including A.T. Kearney and Oliver Wyman, and served as an assistant department head at The Export-Import Bank of Korea, carrying out industry and corporations analysis and strategy projects. Most recently, Park oversaw the management consulting and advanced analytics organization at IQVIA Korea.
The company said Park, the Deputy Minister, will oversee the establishment of GC's mid- to long-term group strategy, the development of new businesses, and portfolio advancement, based on experience accumulated across various industries including consulting, policy finance, and healthcare data and analytics.
A GC Holdings official said, "We expect Park to make a significant contribution to strengthening GC Group's future growth strategy based on her expertise and experience to date."
