Dong-A Socio Group said on the 30th that it held a founding anniversary ceremony at its headquarters in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, to mark the 93rd anniversary of its founding on Dec. 1.
At the anniversary ceremony held on the 28th, representatives of Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co., Dong-A Otsuka, and DA Information, along with executives and employees of group companies, attended, while those who could not attend participated online.
Kim Min-young of Dong-A Socio Holdings said in commemorative remarks, "Technology is evolving faster, the order of the market is being reorganized, and customer expectations are higher than ever," and added, "Let's realize innovation in the way we work, innovation in speed, and innovation in decision-making so we can respond agilely to change, seize new possibilities, and move together toward our shared goals."
The company also held a proclamation ceremony for a new group CI (corporate image). The new CI was created under the theme of "endless health, 100 years of trust," and was designed in a pentagonal shape inspired by a hibiscus with five petals inside a round circle.
A company official said, "This is the first change in 44 years since 1982, and it was planned to integrally manage the group's brand identity and expertise in line with globalization and business diversification, and to strengthen synergy among group companies."
The company also conducted regular awards for contributors. The grand prize for top senior success cases went to Lee Chae-rin, manager, and Song Ji-hyun, senior manager, of the RA team in the clinical development office at Dong-A ST, in recognition of their contributions to securing the new product pipeline.
The grand prize for top senior challenge cases went to the QRA1 team of the quality management department in the management office at Dong-A Chammed, in recognition of contributions to promoting the companywide quality culture innovation project and improving quality.
