With two days left before launch, the homegrown launch vehicle Nuri (KSLV-II) completed signal checks on the 25th after being erected on the launch pad.
The Korea AeroSpace Administration and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) said at 8:26 p.m. that work was underway to install Nuri on the launch pad and stated accordingly. Earlier, the research team finished erecting and securing Nuri at Launch Pad 2 of the Naro Space Center in Goheung County, South Jeolla Province, at 1:36 p.m. The research team said, "After the launch pad erection was completed, we carried out electrical and HVAC umbilical (umbilical) consolidation and launch vehicle signal checks," and noted, "We plan to complete the attitude control system check on the 25th."
However, due to adverse weather, including a strong wind advisory, the pneumatic-hydraulic umbilical consolidation and leak check are targeted for completion on the morning of the 26th. Launch operations are planned to proceed from the afternoon of the same day. The originally scheduled launch time is 12:55 a.m. on the 27th. The research team said it "will complete the remaining work and proceed with the launch as planned."
