Dong Kook Lifescience said on the 20th that it signed a strategic partnership with Canon Medical Systems Korea to sell and service medical imaging diagnostic equipment in Korea.
Under the agreement, Dong Kook Lifescience will install and supply Canon's major imaging diagnostic equipment—including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound—to medical institutions nationwide, and will provide technical support and maintenance services.
Canon Medical Systems Korea is a global medical imaging corporations that provides a precise and safe diagnostic environment through advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) image reconstruction, low-dose imaging, and microvascular imaging. Recently, it released an upper-tier version of the ultrasound "Prism Edition" and unveiled a large slate of AI-based imaging diagnostic technologies at the Korean Congress of Radiology (KCR 2025), supporting patient-centered precision medicine and enhancing clinicians' diagnostic expertise.
Dong Kook Lifescience plans to expand Canon's advanced technologies in the domestic medical market based on the sales network and know-how it has built in contrast agents and imaging diagnostic equipment.
