Neurophet said on the 18th that it signed an exclusive dealership agreement with a radiology equipment distribution corporations based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Neurophet, a specialist corporations in artificial intelligence (AI) for brain disease diagnosis·treatment, will supply "Neurophet SCALE PET," which analyzes positron emission tomography (PET) images, to four major Middle Eastern countries—UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar—through this agreement with Modawina Medical Equipment Trading Co LLC. It plans to gradually increase supply over about three years through 2028.
Modawina Medical is a corporations that distributes radiology and nuclear medicine equipment and maintains partnerships with several global medical device manufacturers. In the Middle East, demand for radiology, diagnostic medical devices and AI-based solutions has recently been rising, making the region a key entry market for global medical device corporations.
Bin Joon-gil, co-CEO of Neurophet, said, "This exclusive dealership agreement, with the UAE as a base, will serve as an important bridgehead for Neurophet's entry into the Middle Eastern market," adding, "Through cooperation with Modawina Medical, we will accelerate local sales so that brain disease patients in the Middle East can benefit from more precise brain imaging AI solutions."
