Huons Group's Huonsen said on the 17th that it acquired 250,000 shares of the health functional food manufacturer "Bioroget," making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
Bioroget is a health functional food original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original design manufacturing (ODM) specialist corporations. Since its establishment in 1986, it has provided comprehensive contract services for health supplements covering planning, development, production, and post-management.
Huonsen was launched in May as an integrated corporation of Huons' health functional food business unit and Huons subsidiary Huons Foodience. Since then, it has expanded its product lineup by acquiring the women's health brand "Mycitol" and introducing new products based on individually approved, naturally derived ingredients.
The company said it plans to flexibly respond to increasing export volumes through this acquisition of Bioroget and to raise its market responsiveness and growth speed.
