■ Private space launch corporations INNOSPACE unveiled the top plate of the PLA (Payload Adapter), a satellite–launch vehicle consolidation device engraved with the names of 238 employees and 34 investors, ahead of the first commercial launch of "HANBIT-Nano." The PLA protects satellites and payloads from vibration and shock, keeps them secured, and then serves as the final link that safely separates them after reaching the target orbit. Among launch vehicle components, it remains in space the longest. INNOSPACE is currently preparing for launch at the Alcântara Space Center in Brazil.
■ The Gwacheon National Science Museum will hold a special supermoon observation event on the 5th, where people can observe the biggest full moon of the year. This full moon is expected to appear about 14% larger than the smallest full moon that rose on Apr. 13. The special observation will take place at the Gwacheon National Science Museum from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the 5th and will feature a variety of moon-themed programs, including supermoon telescope viewing, writing wish letters, making activities related to the moon and astronomy and space, and screenings at the planetarium. ■ Pohang University of Science and Technology POSTECH will host the "2025 POSTECH Convergence Forum" with the Future Exploration Community on the 31st at the C5 Conference Hall on campus. The forum will be held under the theme "Questioning the future," and is free for all university members as well as Pohang residents. In particular, neuroscientist Jang Dong-seon, familiar to the public from tvN's "Alssulsinjab," will serve as representative of the Future Exploration Community and will deliver the keynote and moderate the panel discussion. ■ The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity (KOSAC) will host the "2025 4th SciBridge: Invitation to the world of renowned scientists" for students at science high schools and science (arts) gifted schools nationwide. This event is the fourth SciBridge lecture this year and will be held at the Korea Science Academy from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the 29th. The lecture will be delivered by Kim Geun-young, principal researcher at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and science YouTuber "Ullim" will moderate.
