Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) said on the 15th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kyungpook National University to exchange research personnel and jointly use research resources in the fields of new materials, artificial intelligence (AI), and advanced bio.
The agreement was prepared to promote joint research by using the research personnel and resources held by both institutions, and to push forward with building human and material exchanges and a research network.
Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in areas including: exchange of human and material information for research and development cooperation; joint research and securing research projects in the fields of new materials, AI, and advanced bio; providing on-site training and educational opportunities to foster research personnel; and holding joint seminars, symposia, and academic conferences.
Yang Sung-gwang, president of KBSI, said the agreement will be used to pursue joint research that leverages the research infrastructure and capabilities of both institutions.
